Mobile app Silesian Blues Route is an interactive tour guide of the clubs where Silesian blues was born. With ease and style it will lead you through the world’s first permanent touristic route dedicated to music clubs.
The route consists of over ten locations in Katowice. Using the app you can plan the touring route and read a short history of the chosen place. Eminent Silesian musicians share their memories of each of the clubs in short videos. Thanks to geolocation elements of the video material are available in the locations only!
Blues is an important element of Katowice history. Clubs such as Puls, Pod Rurą and Ciapek saw the beginning and later development of careers of musicians who wrote the history of Polish blues.
Visiting the Route you will be able to get to know the likes of Adam & Beno Otręba, Leszek Winder, Irek Dudek, Józef Skrzek and many, many others and listen to their memories, too.
