Work-Hops
Work-Hops are not your boring lectures – it is the participants in the centre here! The workshop’s main themes touch on: freestyle, lyrics, beat making, videos, turntablism as well as social media, streetwear, management and the often marginalised issue of the role of women in rap.
Guests of Tomasz Tymin Tymiński – the host of these hip-hop encounters – are both young rappers, incl. Czeski, Ad.M.a, Kuba Stemplowski, Adrian Kawa, Młody (Heavy Mental) and established artists, among them Miuosh. The project kicked off in August 2016.
Since November, within Work-Hops the Silesian Freestyle League has been active; both freestylers and spectators are invited to its meetings.
The weekly meetings are held on Thursdays in the Music Hub at 6:30 pm. Entry is free.
The meetings are open for anybody over 15 years of age, it is however necessary to send an e-mail submission to: rapsztaty@miasto-ogrodow.eu.
